Dr D Dinesh Kumar, practices Dermatology & allied fields at Dr Dinesh’s Skin & Hair Clinic at Nungabakkam. His practice though predominantly involves Cosmetic & Procedural Dermatology (Skin, Hair, PRP & LASERs), he also practices General Dermatology with special focus on Paediatric Dermatology. He is also a qualified Paediatric Dermatologist, having obtained his IADVL Fellowship in Paediatric Dermatology from Kanchi Kamakoti CHILDS Trust Hospital, Chennai. He was awarded the Membership (MRCPS) of the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Glasgow (RCPSG), United Kingdom. He was awarded the Fellowship in Dermatology (FIAMS) by the Indian Medical Association – Academy of Medical Sciences for his work in the field of dermatology in the year 2015.

Dr D Dinesh Kumar is also a Member on the International Advisory Board of the International Society of Teledermatology on a second consecutive term from the year 2012. He is the General Secretary of the Indian Society of Teledermatology & also the General Secretary of the Chennai City Chapter of Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venerelogists & Leprolgists (IADVL).

Dr Dinesh Kumar was an invited Faculty Speaker at the 23rd World Congress of Dermatology held in June 2015 at Vancouver, Canada. He was also an invited Faculty Speaker at the 4th & 5th World Congresses of Teledermatology held in October 2012 at Tbilisi, Georgia & October 2014 at Barcelona, Spain.

Dr D Dinesh Kumar is a recipient of the prestigious ”Dowling Club" Scholarship, which is a Specialist group of the "British Association of Dermatologists", in the year 2012. He was chosen to attend clinics in the UK at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital, Sheffield & the Sheffield Children’s Hospital, Sheffield, United Kingdom in the year 2012. He awarded the "European Hair Research Society” grant to attend their 16th Annual meeting & he also presented 2 scientific papers on Hair loss in meeting in Barcelona, Spain. Dr D Dinesh Kumar is a recipient of the IADVL Best Outgoing Residents Award for the year 2008 (one of the 2 Awardees) and was awarded a scholarship to attend the 68th Annual meeting of the American Academy of Dermatology at Florida, US. He is also an International Scholarship awardee by the International Society of Dermatology for the year 2009.
